Cost
Hospice Care is provided free of charge, regardless of a patient’s financial position.
Funding
Cahercalla is a registered charity and the cost of running the facility is over €750 000 per annum. As we care for more and more patients each year, this figure increases over time. Part of the running costs of the facility are funded by the HSE – but we rely on the generosity and goodwill of the local community to raise the rest of the funds. We have an active fundraising programme to make sure we meet our targets each year.
