Ground Floor Refurbishment –

The old clinic area is currently under refurbishment to convert it to a dayroom, sitting room, outside walkway/garden and a further 8 bedrooms to compliment the existing ground floor area. This will enhance the quality of care/life of existing and new residents coming to our home. We hope this project will be completed by April 2019.

Gazebo –

In the courtyard of our Garden Wing we are delighted to have our new Gazebo open since July 2018, this particular summer was ideal for it as our residents and families made great use of it during the long balmy afternoons. It also gave our Activities team an area to bring our residents outside to avail of the great spell of weather, a great addition to our facility.

Painting of Building –

The whole of the outside of the building was repainted during the month of September, it has given the place a real lift on entering our grounds. Residents and families have given very positive feedback on the project as it his home for the majority of them.

New Beds –

We are in the process of replacing our older style hospital beds with new care home style ones. The advantage of these is that it will help residents with mobility issues getting in/out, the beds have the facility to lower to the floor to prevent any resident falling to the floor.
